Jennifer's Flowers & Gifts

Carmen's been running Jennifer's Flowers & Gifts for 18 years now. "I forgot why I started," she laughs. Too many years, too many flowers between then and now. These days she works more in the background. Her daughter jumps in when things get busy. The designers? They're the ones really running the show. Carmen knows it too: "I'm blessed with my team. Team is so good."

That Cooler Though

First thing we ask: want to see inside the cooler?

Sixteen by twenty feet. Three rows of shelving. Probably one of the biggest in the Greater Toronto Area (we haven't found a bigger one yet). At any moment you'll find 20 bouquets ready to grab, plus another 15 to 20 finished arrangements. All different. Various colors, various heights, various vases, just sitting there waiting. People walk in and actually gasp sometimes. It's a lot of flowers!

No Two Days the Same

Carmen puts it best: "Every day is different, right?"
Dead slow all morning. Then 5pm hits and two, three families walk in. Something happened. They need flowers for tomorrow. Now suddenly tomorrow looks insane. But that's the job. You roll with it. The team here gets that. They've seen slow days flip to chaos in twenty minutes!

When Other Shops Call

True story: other florists in Vaughan call us when they're stuck. Big order comes in, they don't have enough roses. Or they need those foam shapes. We're usually the shop with extra everything because of those 20-25 boxes coming in weekly!

What We Stock

Standard flowers, all year, every color. The basics that everybody needs. When fall comes, we’ve got sunflowers. Spring means peonies and tulips. The rest of the year it's roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, the evergreen stems of the flower world!

Why Seven Days

We're open every single day, because flowers are a good idea every day! Across from Canada's Wonderland (southeast corner, Jane and Major Mackenzie). The hospital's right across from us too! Easy to find. Always here.

Our Spot in Vaughan

Washew's Funeral Home calls us for emergencies since we're closest, even though they have their main florist somewhere else. Same with Lotus. Local hockey clubs, senior groups, they all swing by. Carmen donates flowers whenever someone's doing a charity raffle.

Prom season? Chaos that we love! Kids suddenly remember they need corsages! Graduation? Same thing. Mother's Day? Don't even ask!
